Martina Clarke is a Brisbane-based artist born in Sydney, 1997. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from RMIT University in 2020, where she developed an installation-led, research-based practice. In 2021, she completed the Level Up Artist Residency, supported by the City of Gold Coast.
Clarke is a recipient of the Brisbane Portrait Prize Emerging Artist Award, the Brisbane Portrait Prize Patrons Grant, and the Brisbane Portrait Prize People's Choice Award. In 2023, she presented her first solo exhibition at Land Street Gallery.
Her recent projects include a self-funded research trip to Copenhagen, which informed SYZYGY, a conceptually driven duo exhibition presented at Metro Arts in 2025. Alongside exhibiting in group shows and art prizes nationally, Clarke continues to develop her practice from her Brisbane studio and is currently researching toward a solo exhibition at Chapter Gallery in 2026.
